Crash Bandicoot (1996) Review

Ever since I was born in 1994 after when my parents were married, my sister being born first and bought an NES, a Game Boy, a Sega Genesis and a Super Nintendo, they've later bought in a PlayStation few years ahead. They bought games like Jet Moto, Twisted Metal, Resident Evil 2 and Crash Bandicoot to begin with. Crash Bandicoot is where it all began with a mixture between Looney Tunes-styled gameplay and lush, beautiful and ominous stage atmospheres. Cortex and N. Brio have used the Cortex Vortex to make Crash the leader of Cortex's mutant animal army. but alas, it came to be a failure as Crash was in his hyperactive attire. As Crash falls down from the castle and lands on N. Sanity Beach with little or no personal injury, he sets out to rescue his girlfriend from being tested as well. This was the most spookiest, yet hardest cartoony PlayStation games I ever played during my toddler years (mostly the infamous foggy bridge stages, the ominous darkness stages, the rain stages and sometimes the upstream stages). What scares me the most are the N. Brio boss stage. He starts to drink the potion after when you hit those green gooey things and becomes a Hulk-like monster pound the floor like crazy and the Pinstripe boss stage where he shoots his Tommy gun like a madman, making poor Crash cower in fear (it was so cute when he did that). this was before Crash gained more abilities on Cortex Strikes Back and Warped, making it the most difficult Crash game ever played.
