The Battle for Mewni Poster

This will be the first two-hour long TV movie for Star vs. the Forces of Evil. unlike most Disney animated TV movies that sometimes feature songs, witty humor with action/adventure elements (if you count Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension, The Proud Family Movie, Kim Possible: So the Drama, Tangled: Before Ever After and Darkwing Duck: Darkly Dawns the Duck ), it'll be considered the "darkest, and yet emotional" of Star vs. The Forces of Evil ever to be produced due to it's tone and aspects of the storyline being radical departures from the show's usual goofy, random and lighthearted appeal.
